Put a big asterisk next to free returns. For items like this I've found eBay sellers to be highly reluctant to issue return labels. They make you go through hoops such as recording the issue and push you to the manufacturer so they don't take the return hit until you pull every string from threatening eBay escalation to negative feedback. Highly annoying and not worth the savings, risk, or potential hassle in my experience.

Put it on a citibank card, when I get the least bit of resistance, I file a dispute. Keep the screenshot of claim of free returns. Half the time the seller simply refunds the money and says to discard the product.
