I always wanted one of these for exactly zero purpose. I also live in a shoulder area in the South where it is either way too cold to car camp or too hot / humid you'd basically slow cook even at night. You get like 2 weeks a year where you wouldn't want to die in that situation.

That being said....should I order 1 or 2?

Wouldn't you have to take into consideration about local laws on sleeping in cars overnight, if that is your intention for getting this?

Get an EV with a camping mode? Then you can still not use this unless there's a hurricane.

FWIW, I had never heard of camping mode but that actually sounds pretty neat now that I just googled it. I'm used to the old school way of just leaving the engine running....and hoping you wake up.

And no one bats an eye the hundreds of times per week a gas powered car bursts into flames. But the once a month it occurs on an EV the event requires a congressional hearing and every news station in the country reporting on it.
