How are these compared to Hoka's recovery slides?

I recently bought these after I tried them on at a running shoe store. They are top tier for comfort and heel pain. If your a student you also get an additional 20 percent off on top of the sale

Tried both years ago now, but I think it's up to personal preference.

I personally preferred the oofos, and still use them. My wife has bought several and leaves them at family houses we visit often.

I'm trying to apply both the student discount (id.me) and SAVEPERKS but it only allows for one discount code?

The student discount gives the same 20% off as the discount code that was posted and no way to use both.

They must have changed the foam recently. I've owned multiple pairs in the past that were very soft and squishy. But when I bought a new pair in December, they felt like bricks.

I had really bad plantar fasciitis and after some recommendations I bought Oofos along with Hoka Bondi sneakers. The Oofos brought almost immediate relief wearing them around the house. The Hokas I wore when going out. Within a very short period of time, my pain was gone. Oofos are now my go to when I'm home.

In my opinion these are ugly but they're so comfortable and supportive. I own three pairs of them in various styles and they're the only flip flop and slide I'll wear now.

I can second what you experienced. Only difference is I ditched my Hoka's they were part of the problem for me. Too soft. The Oofos definitely help me at home. I have a couple pair now and do recommend them.

I feel the same way. While the company maintains that they're still using the same proprietary OOfoam technology, I personally--and others in the online community as well--have noticed a difference between the pairs I bought 2–3 years ago and the pair I purchased recently. My previous pairs had that amazing, marshmallow-like feel, almost like walking on clouds. The newer ones feel noticeably firmer.
It's still a comfortable slide that I prefer over anything else, including Hoka's, but I do miss that old, softer feel. Maybe the foam needs more time to break in, or perhaps there are slight variations depending on manufacturing location.

Hmm, not seeing free shipping upon login. I'm getting a $7 "returning customer" shipping rate.

These are much cushier than the Hoka slides I have and don't have the weird ridges, and they are nice and wide once they stretch out, having said that they are not very good with stability.
