I had bad luck with Panasonic 2032s from Amazon, they quickly drain and most didn't hold up a charge. Had better luck with other off brands.

+1 to Duracell. Amazon Basics is another good choice.

There are many counterfeit batteries sold on Amazon.

Duracell makes the best coin cell batteries for most use cases. If the device they're going in is stationary (ie not an Airtag) Panasonic 2032's actually last a little longer. Panasonic, like all other coin cells other than Duracell, commonly fail when subjected to high g-forces, like drops, etc. Duracell is the only brand of 2032 that can withstand drops, etc, without the risk of randomly failing with charge left in them. If it's a stationery device, like a mini hygrometer, clock, etc, Panasonic is the way to go, as they're cheaper and last a little longer.

I have used Amazon Basics for my AirTags for years and they have worked well. I would guess that they're at much lower risk for fakes

You should post this in the Duracell thread, it's helpful info (I would repost, but don't want to steal your post)
