I'd read the believeintherun.com or runrepeat.com reviews on both to see which one is right for your needs.
you can run as slow as you want in them as long as you aren't a heel striker
the EVO for $10 more than this is a no-brainer, they are fantastic shoes
the SL2 only has a tiny bit of the pro foam that the EVO is made entirely out of
the EVO energy return is bonkers
if the SL2 was $30 I'd try a pair but EVO for $65 is way better

same shoe men vs women but men need to add +1 size, ie men 10 = women 11
