I use this for both Windows and Switch 2, and it works perfectly for Windows. For Switch 2, there's an input delay, whether you use the 2.4 GHz or BT. I've flashed the latest firmware and tried everything suggested after researching online. I will be selling it, because it doesn't work well with the Switch 1 or Switch 2, which is the main reason why I bought it in the first place.

Ugh. I had this my cart with the intention of buying it for the Switch 2 when the price dropped. Now I'm hesitant after seeing your post. Out of curiosity... when you updated the firmware, was it within the last 4 months? Only because I'm seeing online that there seemed to be an update around then for Switch 2 compatibility.
I'm looking for wireless arcade stick with a joystick for the Switch 2 just to play some of the Capcom games and maybe Mortal Kombat and don't really want to spend more than this. The only other one I'm seeing is Mayflash and it seems to be well over $100 for the wireless version/s.

In case you go with this arcade stick, be aware that the 8Bitdo updater on their official site won't work. The latest FW version you need is FW v1.01_r145:
When connected with BT, you'll have a half-second delay. When connected to the 2.4 GHz, you'll still experience a quarter-second delay. I mainly bought it for fighting games, classic Mega Man games, and other NES roguelike games. Also, the restrictor gate is square, so you'll have to upgrade it to the octagonal restrictor gate if you plan to use it for fighting games.

Someone should tell all those fighting game arcade cabinets with square gates that apparently they aren't valid.
Seriously though square gate is incredibly common for fighting games. Especially for the two biggest franchises, Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. It's also a preference thing. Both work great.

Bit late, but a bit of digging shows latency down to around 10ms over Bluetooth to switch 2 after firmware update. That's negligible for all but the most avid pros. 1/100th of a second. No where near 1/4 second or 250ms. For a reference point smash brothers on switch has 60-80ms practically built into the game engine. This is a tiny fraction of that. I believe you can also use it wired. With the dongle to windows it should be even lower. In the realm of 4ms or less.
