This is equivalent to the full Switch Pro controller just without NFC. Basic rumble, motion controls. Full featured despite how small these are. Makes a good travel controller.

It also got a Switch 2 update last year. It won't wake the Switch 2, but Nintendo also decided to not allow the Switch 1 Pro controller to wake the Switch 2.

Pretty good for around $20. I got a lot of use out of mine. It also looks like a mini Switch Lite.

yeah, works with Switch 2, 8bitdo released a software update for Switch 2 compatibility. you need to download their update tool on a pc/mac.

this is the perfect size for small children. I'm an adult, but it's good as a travel controller too

There are 3D printables for this little dude to attach to phones and stuff. Love this thing. Might have to get a second one...

There's a large amount of negative reviews when sorting the reviews by most recent. Looks like this remote was released in 2022. The remote might have not aged well and it might be the reason for the issues. I was about to pull the trigger. Buyer beware.

The size is fine for my 5 year old he thinks the d-pad and shoulder buttons take too much force to press.

I was thinking to pair this with my Steamdeck but found this review which might effect some games "This controller lacks xinput and is dinput only, which means that games that only work with xbox controllers do not work on PC".
also many complaints about the battery life and it wears down within a few months.

We got these for our kids last year. Terrible purchase, it won't wake the Switch 1 (we tried everything) and it needs to be charged separately, which requires extra cords. Pairing is a hassle and doesn't seem to stick (BT pairing tests adult patience - imagine for kids). It also got confusing with actual use in multiplayer once you get all past that and start a game.

I need something like this that works with tesla games. I have bought too many that don't work to do so again without hearing first that it does.

The 8bitdo 2C's work, but you have to press one of the button combinations when inserting the controller (I think it was the Android setting). I assume the rest of 8bitdo's lineup that also has different settings would follow the same logic

I have two of those. I need it to work through bluetooth and they don't seem to.
