Why? Still buying into the "Amazon sells fakes" argument that the sophomoric posters on here like to regurgitate? Not one person who claims they got a fake has stated how they validated it was a fake. I'm wondering if anyone besides me checks the batch codes and especially on anything they buy from a department store? You would be surprised by some of the dates. The one or two times I've had issues on Amazon or eBay, they were resolved quickly and I received all of my money back. The reality is that buying from TJ Maxx and Marshall's is not much of any different than buying from Amazon in terms of storage and age of product. People state what a great buy they got from Marshall's but fail to report that the batch codes indicate the fragrance they bought is 2 years old. That's exactly why Marshall's has it, it's because it's been sitting in the warehouse of some store for this entire time and they finally aged it out and sold it at discount to Marshall's. The best deals I've found, by far, are the company outlets like The Cosmetics Company and The Luxury Store. I've bought Tom Ford for $75 that retails for $350. And YSL bottles for $49 that are $95 at the discounters.

Bro i dont buy fragrances from TJ Maxx or Marshall. Either from the brand authentic stores or Sephora or maybe Ulta. That's it.
You do you. But for some thing like fragrances i dont buy from Amazon. Not Sams. Not Costco. Its not just the risk of counterfeit but also how they store the fragrances, and how they transport them.
And i do check the batch code check all the time.

So, apparently I'm not as much of a Cologne guy as I thought.... How do I go about checking these batch numbers, and who do I cry to when I find out my collection isn't as awesome as I thought
