Seriously though, we're reaching the point where my love of the convenience (click and forget) is going to be outweighed by the local prices.
Still, my wife and girlfriend love their 25-count long stem roses each year!

"Our stunning Rainforest Alliance Certified roses are hand-picked from our South American farms."
A few years ago, the Costco flowers were all delivered late (and nearly dead) because they were held up in customs. Because they came from outside the country.
While I was blaming tariffs in jest (didn't mean to trigger anyone) for the increase in cost year over year, even increasing from the time I posted this deal to now, here's some tariff information about imported flowers:
Yes, there are tariffs on South American flowers (primarily from Colombia and Ecuador) sold in the U.S., with a new ~10% duty imposed in 2025, adding to existing base tariffs, significantly impacting prices for retailers and consumers, though some specific agreements offered temporary duty-free access previously. The tariffs increase costs for most imported blooms, affecting major holidays like Mother's Day and Valentine's Day, and are adding to the existing 6.8% duty on Ecuadorian roses and the previous duty-free status for Colombian flowers.
Guess I'll have to wait and see where my roses come from this year, but a $7 increase over last year is the largest increase in the last 5 years for Costco V-Day roses.
