What's the capacity on this? Can't find it anywhere on the page. There are cheaper off brand ones that come with 2 for around this price. The ones I've gotten are pretty good and last a good amount of time.

I use enloop AAs but you would want 4 batteries and a charger which would run you about $25. There is no reference to capacity in the listing, don't like that.

Still think rechargeable AA batteries are more versatile. Amz Basics NiMH AA battery often has a deal price for less than $0.9 each, $16 could easily get you 18~20+ rechargeable AA batteries that could also be used in keyboard/flashlight/scale/mouse/clock/toys.

Series S/X controllers need higher voltage than XB1 controllers, ideally 1.5V. over time, NiMH batteries become weak enough that S/X controllers don't turn on even at 1.2V. not sure what the battery chemistry is on these, but I'd imagine they are lithium which will hold their voltage better over time.

Yeah but let be real here. The suggestion you made is ideal for those who plays frequently. Because the battery won't be depleted quickly compared to those who plays less frequently. That being said this deal is really for those who don't play frequently. This charges well and it also convenience to have it plugged anytime anywhere and even while playing!

Interesting. I've been using Enloop/IKEA/Amz NiMH AA batteries for both Series XS and Xbox One controllers for years, I've never had any problems.

probably because they haven't degraded enough. there will come a time when those batteries will still work fine for XB1 controllers, but not S/X controllers.
