I've been using one of these as a DIY expansion battery (planning to buy a second to put in parallel) with my Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 for a couple months now, spectacular price/kWh compared to the official expansion battery. Needs more equipment than just the battery, but the extra stuff has more uses too. I've got the Ecoflow 800W alternator charger between the Delta Pro 3 and Ecoworthy 12V battery, and it does bidirectional charging (there's a "charge" and "reverse charge" setting).

The Delta Pro 3 charges from 400W solar panels, and if it's getting full I just "reverse charge" the 12V battery via the alternator charger. When they're both nearly full I'll charge my car from the Delta Pro 3, while the alternator charger is in "charge" mode discharging the 12V battery and charging the Delta Pro 3.

Mainly bought the setup for use during power outages, but when there's no outage it covers my commute every week lol.

One of the two of these I purchased lost BT "permanently" when I moved out of BT range while using the official app, and neither the official app nor any other could connect again. I was able to fix this by draining the battery all the way, letting it sit for a couple days, then starting to re-charge it with the Ecoworthy smart charger. After a few minutes of charging the BMS reset and I was able to connect to my Raspberry Pi/Home Assistant where the connections have been solid since.

Not necessarily your issue, but in case it might be.

Unfortunately I don't have a gasoline refinery in my backyard, but I do have solar panels and a battery (both cars are EVs).

Since they can be put into a series of 4 to make 48 volts then yes they sure can power anything in a home from 4-9 pm. It will most definitely need a number of other parts, wiring, and knowhow to set it all up though.

In for one, again. The first one I got has been great in my RV. Gonna add another one because I have a residential fridge and boondock a lot. It charged me tax in California, so total was $267
That's what I've been eyeing these for. How have you liked them? Do you use an inverter with them?

Been great so far. I had to get a new converter to charge them to the right voltage. My RV came with a factory inverter connected to the fridge and TV outlets. I also had to add a lithium battery isolation manager because my alternator also charges the house batteries. Apparently lithium batteries pull more power and can overheat the alternator.

I've accumulated 7 of these over the last couple of years, picking more up each time the price drops. 4 to power my off the grid cabin and 3 power some key electronics and fridge at home. These batteries are awesome. Bluetooth built into the battery to check charge level is a great feature.

Just FYI, these are not returnable, even though it says they are. Ali will send you a ground return label for USPS, and you need a hazardous label for these. They don't understand that.

add about $36 extra on tariff fees. Total out the door price.

So 4 of these roughly equate to the output of a Tesla Powerwall? I understand the PW has some electronics built in, but that seems impossibly cheap in comparison ($1200 vs $15k)
