Not too shabby on the price. I'm interested in getting a compact hacksaw but I think I'd prefer the ones that have the blade go beyond the tool arm.

Why are the ones with the blades going past the arm better? I always wondered why they were like that.

Going to try this for seldom used, at-home bone cutting on steaks (and then knife through ribeye)..

Butcher recommeded butterflying 2.5 inch bone-in ribeye steaks (which I never thought to do to get down to 1+ inch serving size while preserving presentation of bone)
