I would also pick them over the Q150 or Q350 speakers for hifi music in a living room.
I'd pick the Q150 or similar for nearfield/desktop style usages.
I own the Klipsch RP-160m, RP-600m and RP-600m II & have tested several other Klipsch models.
I own the KEF Q150 and LS50meta & have owned among others the Q350 and R3.
I would pick the Klipsch RP-600m II as my top choice if I had to use one of all of the above speakers in farfield/living room/HT setting in a 2.0. I
would pick the LS50meta for nearfield.
Even with subs involved(and home theater should have at least 1) it would be a toss up between the RP-600m II and the KEF LS50meta as they are both very good but different.
I subjectively found them to equal to the $2000 KEF R3 but they do have slightly different qualities that would be hard to describe quickly here. The point is I enjoyed them equally but they don't sound the same. I would gamble/pure guess that in a blind test of the KEF R3 and the Klipsch RP-600m II, that out of 100 people, 40 would pick the KEF, 30 the Klipsch and 30 have no notable preference.
Out of the box. Objectively/measurement wise this pair of Klipsch speakers measures very well. They are not far behind the KEF R3meta and yet cost a fraction. Beyond out of the box, if you or anyone reading this is nerdy and can figure out how to tweak with a manual DSP/PEQ you can easily make the Klipsch RP-600m II sound like actual ultra high fidelity reference speakers as the type of 'flaws' they have are easily fixed with minor equalization tweaks.
If you don't have manual DSP/PEQ, and find them slightly bright (remember often it is actually the recording that is bright, especially with music which is often poorly mastered and recorded - even in famous studios) but if they are slightly bright in your room just turn the treble tone control down 1 or 2db and that will bring them in line more with objective neutral. (same for the KEF Q150)
These are the best $350 speakers out there at this price, nothing else is close right now. They are easily worth full retail.
One note they need as much amplifier power as any typical competitor. They are not more efficient vs typical similar sized monitors, that 94db spec is completely made up by Klipsch.
Sensitivity is easily measured, these are about 85-86db with 2.83volts just like most speakers in this class. The horn does not help because in a 2-way like this the maximum sensitivity is determined by the woofer, NOT the horn loaded tweeter. That tweeter has to be brought down to match the woofer in the crossover.
There is no 6.5 woofer anywhere on earth ant any cost that is 94db sensitive and can also play down to 50hrz with decent SPL, so knowing that you already know.
I've now moved them to my living room for 2.0 channel TV set up. Replacing an "Atmos" soundbar with surrounds + sub. I completely forget that there is NO subwoofer when I have a movie with explosives playing. I've caught myself turning around to check where I used to have a sub sitting with the old set. These can get aggressive with a bit of EQ.
They are super efficient, easy to drive speakers, most "desktop" size amps will be able to drive these easily. Super happy with my purchase, easy buy imo at this price.

Great price imo - I think the general consensus on these is that they are a good step up from the RP-160 and RP-600mki. I have a pair of mint cherry RP-160 that I picked up a couple years back for cheap from someone local, but I really want to try this newer model, in not-black.
