This tool has been around for years. First as a 18v NiCad and then the current Lithium model. It's nothing spec wise compared to the newer high torque models but I still love it. I do have the highest torque Dewalt Impact Gun but still use this occasionally when applicable. Built like a tank!

Sounds like you likely have some of the newer models... out of curiosity, what do you realistically use this for when (from the specs) this sits on between the Atomic DCF921 & slightly larger DCF891? Both of which are MUCH smaller than this DCF889...

The 18v version of this was great back in 2011. But there's no reason to buy this 15yrs later. There are way better impacts to be had for this price in 2026.
