Amazone has done a big house cleaning in the last months when it comes to fragrance knock-offs as they stopped allowing so many shady businesses selling on their website and took ownership of many other brands. I've got 3 expensive fragrances from Amazon the last 6 months and they were all legit.

I just know not to buy fragrance from suppliers on Amazon that aren't legit. And I usually side eye if it's Amazon shipping it and not the brand itself. Thankfully it seems that Amazon doesn't generally take back fragrances as returns.

I tried to over the holidays and they just refunded it and let me keep it. Wasn't over $60 though so maybe price is a factor.

I worked at an Amazon in Arizona for over 10 years. Many times during the summer they would leave trailers for days in the yard waiting to be unloaded. Summers in Arizona get to high 110°F. Also Amazon will sell returned items as new. I worked in the department that dealt with return items. Many times people would try to return fake/counterfeit items back and keep the real one.
