We have had so many batteries leak from this brand, that we will no longer by them, as they have ruined items they were in.

I've purchased Rayovac batteries for 15+ years now, often in 48 or 60packs and have never had one leak on me. It's certainly possible as it would be with any brand, but doesn't seem very common

All but one of those accounts is over 15 years old. Doesn't look like spam, just people who are sick of leaky batteries. Rayovac honor their leak protection claims but it's not worth the time wasted.
