It will never be $5 and a 4k disc never will be. And it shouldn't because it cost more to produce.4K Blu-rays cost more than standard Blu-rays due to higher production costs from creating native 4K masters with HDR/Dolby Vision, more complex disc layers for increased storage (up to 100GB vs. 50GB), licensing fees for advanced audio (Atmos/DTS:X), and a niche market where studios charge more for premium restoration work, especially for boutique releases targeting collectors.

i meant that the 4k disc will be out not that it would cost $5
