My 5 yr old K95 is dying...spacebar switch is getting flaky. Thanks...Worth a shot on a refurb, but I don't think I'd pay top dollar for Corsair again.

Are the switches swappable?

This board sees some hatred on reddit, and slickdeals from previous sale searches.
I feel like I need to point out it is $36 lol.
I have never tried a "corsair MLX" key. I am sitting on a back up board with cherry reds. My cherry brown board died after 9 years.
I'm in for 1. Worst case I send it back. It's Newegg.
It offers everything I was after, and nothing I didn't care about at a price 1/4 of what everything "better" is at. See ya on the other side

Corsair may not be the best brand of keyboards and this may not be even their best model, but I think this one should stack up rather well with anything at this price point.

That is, if someone is looking to try a mechanical keyboard for the first time or if someone just needs an "Oh shiz!" emergency backup.

The Amazon aggregate review rating at 4.0 is actually very low for a leading name manufacturer, and it looks like there might be a recurring quality issue with this product in terms of performance failure.

I guess it's at a massive discount but... you typically get what you pay for.

I don't get using a mechanical keyboard as a backup. I have tons of non-mechanical ones from yesteryears that I can use in a pinch.

We have this keyboard at work and I refuse to use that PC because of how terrible this keyboard is. The faintest swipe across this keyboard will trigger a key press.

...and no volume roller. You may as well throw the keyboard away.

Was using this K70 Core RGB and was loving it. Then the dreaded double or triple key started happening. Updated firmware and tried all fixes but still persists. Also noticed that when making a custom RGB setup, Icue would freeze every couple hours making the RGB go to default setting(and only freezes on this keyboard out of my 7 Corsair KB's I have).. Back to my K95 Platinum. Too many issues for this keyboard to be reliable.

I guess we all have to plug ours in, and press all the keys to see if any are wacko. I've learned my lesson on those crazy EPO keyboards.
(Note, I'm using Linux. So, I'll have to use drivers not supplied by Corsair as they don't give a FF about their customers on the Linux side. Link for reference: https://github.com/ckb-next/ckb-next )

I don't understand why this gets reviewed so high, but I legit want someone in the know to help me understand. I see a lot of companies that offer keyboards with swappable switches for around $50ish. I'm using one right now.

What is the incentive to buy from Corsair, Logitech, Razer, or any other company that won't let the user fix a switch if it goes bad? Isn't a 110 key keyboard just 110 chances for something to break and then the whole thing is trash?
