Yeah, the previous Klein deal from a few days ago, my local store website said 31 in stock but it was definitely all out when I arrived. Don't trust the stock count for clearance items

Typically items are on clearance on a per store basis and if specify your local store the website will tell you if there's stock and if it's on clearance. But for this item the site is saying fits sold out (everywhere). It's confusing they handle clearance items in two different ways.

Has the Milwaukee tester been redesigned? The button is prone to breaking.

Nope, northern California. It wasn't in its usually spot (behind a lock where you need an associate to open) as it was towards the sides with the clearance tag (but not by any other clearance items)
I had this happen this week with the Klein kit. 25 in stock, clearance tag on the shelf, no stock on the shelf. It was all in top stock. Associate was happy to grab them for me.

Was able to pickup the last ones at my store, but I had to look around and got lucky to find them on the shelf above. So recommend checking the shelves above the bay they should be in.
I hate Home Depot clearance. Previous garage opener deal had me drive down 30 miles to get 1 where it was showing 4 available. After searching for an hour found none. Worst part is 4 Home Depot employees checked, confirmed there are 4 in stock but even they didn't have a clue.

The Klein deal was much better. The beeper is a light that is actually really useful and has 2 settings, detects low voltage (blue light). Good multimeter too if a little basic. But $13! I think I'll pick up a few more!

Just purchased a couple in Conyers GA, the display price was $24, the discount shows at checkout. Also they still had about 5 left

Nice. Mine said there were 13 in stock. I went to where they were supposed to be based on website and found a clearance card with an empty shelf. Figured the 13 left inside someone's jacket. Then went up to where they had all the Milwaukee Special Buy holiday sets. Found 15 up there not marked with the clearance tag. After I checked out with 2, the website now lists 11. Odd they had more than what inventory said. Also grabbed some various other Milwaukee goodies. The best deal being oscillating multi tool bits (15.90 down from 82.97 https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../335886584)

Similar to a previous Home Depot clearance deal, this was full price yesterday, but checked today and it's down to the clearance price. So seems Home Depot rolls their clearance deals and they just his some stores a day early.

Couple in stock near me. Out of curiously, how do people even find items on clearance like this? Is there a clearance section on their website or do they randomly stubble on them in store?

The website says that my local store has 5. I went there but there isn't any left. I also saw that the store nearby has 13. But I went there, I could not find it in the section where it's supposed to be. I asked an employee for help. He also tried to find it but didn't find it :-/. I didn't think about checking for a clearance section... Maybe it's in the clearance section but the employee didn't tell me. I ended up wasting two trips and at least an hour.
