You're comparing Costco top tire gas against shitty Walmart gas... Lol

You are down voted because your experience is far from universal. I don't have a winco and have never seen a Walmart gas station lol

Winco is good but that not good. Plus Costco really sines on some of the organic stuff - almost similar prices as Winco non-organic. Generally quality of produce is better at Costco.

Costco is across the street from Walmart gas here, always same price. I also don't like Costco and choose not to pay a fee to shop in a crowded warehouse and fight over parking. Winco and other grocers easily match/beat prices... and I don't get stuck with three months supply of things. But, I get it... Costco is a cult.. People will defend it like a family member. No shame in that, just not my thing,
How do other stores price match that three month supply of a product?

Anti Costco cult members exist also, and they tell obvious lies.

What membership fee? I have executive membership and they end up giving me a rebate that is more than the membership fee. So effectively they are paying me to shop there.
Same here. I usually get more than $250 back a year plus another 3.5-5.25% from my BofA Custom Reward Cashback card (3.5% local warehouse, 5.25% online). I am getting $278.40 reward as of 1/17/2026, more than twice the $130 executive membership fee.

Costco products are larger than your typical grocery store items, sounds like it should be common sense but I'm not even talking about quantity in a package, I'm talking about the product size itself.
If you start comparing ounces per $, Costco typically always wins, not to even mention when items are on sale or complimented with Executive membership and their credit card.
For example, their Sensodyne toothpaste is huge, not the typical small size you find on Amazon or Walmart. The Biotrue contact solution twin packs at regular stores are 10 oz while Costco is 16 oz with extra items included like travel bottle and additional lens case.
Of course you can't find everything there, I make a shop day for the week to go to several stores. Publix for BOGO and Aldis for other misc items.
Costco may not make sense for some, but it sure will for others, even their Vodka is awesome and cheap, I don't even buy gas at Costco.

I buy what I need on a shopping trip and the cost per ounce is the same or less as Costco. Used to be a Costco member for years, but cancelled 12 years ago.

I don't enjoy our current movement to a subscription for everything model.
I am 99.99% certain you did your math wrong. If your math is 99.99% correct, there will be no Costco or BJ's, or Sam's club. It's not a subscription, it's a privilege, just like a golf club membership or Amazon Prime or Walmart+, to enjoy certain benefits the general public doesn't. I don't have a golf club membership because I don't need it, but I don't tell people it's worthless or against it. I don't even buy much meat products at Costco. I buy mostly fruits and vegetables, some eggs. Don't buy much dairy products or gasoline either for a family of 3 with one teen. We sometimes buy items for friends or nonprofit organizations. As others already mentioned, Costco not only sell groceries.

Imgur sucks, at least on mobile. You try and zoom in on an image and it brings you to a random image and if you try and hit the back button it won't go back to the Costco ad. Honestly I'd prefer Costco insider over imgur, which is also terrible. imgbb might be a good alternative. That being said, I appreciate OP posting the ad regardless.

I noticed this with the Milton's pizza.Ounce-wise, the one at Costco was a lot bigger than the same flavor at grocery stores.

No good TVs on sale for the Super Bowl????
I was just at Costco and saw the TCL 90" on sale for $1499.00...I think it's a 100 bucks cheaper than the Black Friday sale.
