probably cause since it's gen 1 they just copy pasted the description since it didn't exist back then when this released it works since i have a gen 1 it's just not fast charge 22w

Just bought a brand new Magsafe 2m from best buy for $28 a few weeks ago, this is a horrible deal
People go out of their way to buy Apple accessories from Apple or specific sites like Best Buy to avoid fakes
Who would buy an open box item from eBay of all places when Best Buy is selling this identical charger brand new for $25? LOL

Normally I would say you can just return it, but eBay's return process is kind of a pain in the ass. Open a case with the seller or eBay (which can take a few days or longer to complete), need your own packaging, receive the label (which can take another few days), print your own label or drop off at a USPS that can print a label for you (not all can), then wait more than a week to get the refund even issued since USPS has to deliver it first and the seller needs to inspect it.I've found that eBay is really only worth it if you find something that you can't get anywhere else like out of production things or collectibles. If you find a great deal it can also be worth it, but Amazon and Walmart aren't usually far behind in prices, and they have much better return policies. Oh, and you can't even trust reviews. I've bought a few things from sellers with like 97% positive ratings (one was even 100% with more than 100 reviews), and they were all not as described. I've also had some really great scores. Mine arrived without a box, inside a brown bag. Not what I was expecting from 'open box' description.

Atleast yours had a box. Mine was in clear open plastic bag shipped in yellow shipping envelope. Since Magsafe and cable have no markings only way to certify it is genuine is to connect it to Iphone and go into settings/about and check model number etc. It is Model 2580, Qi2 genuine charger.
The open box is clearly a stretch though the charger looked new.

I think you misread. Mine also arrived without a box just like yours. BTW the puck as well as the USB end do have markings. They are very tiny though.
