No, in fact, they are far worse. Why? Because somehow Energizer convinced fools that their lithium batteries are not rechargeable while the entire lithium industry is in fact rechargeable.

I only need these for blink cameras. I bought an 8 pack of generic Chinese brand that are rechargeable but I haven't tried them yet

Nest Protect battery version also takes these AA. Alkaline lasts like 2 months at best.
