this would need to be your main; 120 hz VRR @ 4k HDR in OLED is incredible. I use this monitor as my professional grading monitor for commercial film work AS WELL AS I use this panel as my gaming setup for a PC with a ps5 and a switch. I've owned the C1 through the C5 and will continue.

Would this be good for a third/fourth monitor?

Solid price, I think people with access to the LG Partners store were able to get it for a little over $700 in November, but that's pretty rare and YMMV.

Great display for a virtual pinball playfield monitor. Full size are ~50" so this typically fits into a full size cabinet with a little aluminum angle bar stock from HD or Lowe's as the mounting frame.

You really upgrade ca1 to c5? Every year? I'm still sporting 42 C2 for computer use and cannot image 'upgrqding' for n9 visual difference.

I have the 48 C1 and much prefer the 42".... Much sharper especially for text since PPInins about 20% more

Do you use the 42 at native resolution? I also have the 48 C1 that I use as a monitor and what I like is that I have it at 100% scaling, so I have all the possible real state space. I have been tempted to get the 42 but I'm worried I won't be able to use it at 100% scaling.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the screen coating on the c series? The G series is fine but the c series I find to be distracting because it's so noticeable.

48 inch? I got my LG B4 for $300 from FB Marketplace. And a C1 55 inch for $400. Good enough.
I got a 65" B4 for free plus 200 cash to take home. So what is your point?

You're comparing used, lower-end TVs to a brand new, much better TV... Do you also look at new cars and say, "Pfff... I got a 2005 Altima with 150,000 miles on it for $3k."?
