Good deal if you are doing a lot of trim pieces, dual bevel compound will do great for that kind of work. Non-sliding so anything over like a 2 x 6 won't be possible even on a straight cut and probably closer to 5" on a angle. But this is small for what it is, portable, and should get you through multiple rooms of trim on a single charge.

I have the single bevel compound slider and it's amazing how well it does on a 20v battery. I have done a lot of trim work with it but wish mine was dual bevel. However I can't give up mine being a slider and being able to do 2 x 8's and I can't justify the cost of a DCS785 nor want the bigger/heavier saw when I need to lug it outside.

tl;dr: This is a good price on a great miter saw as long as you are primarily doing trim work.

Good deal but the fact that it can only extend up 6 inches is bit disappointing. I recently bought SKIL dual bevel and was maybe thinking of returning and paying a bit more dewalt. Oh well.
