Full of Red #40, Yellow #5 and 6, and sucralose. No thanks. Aside from the well known issues with artificial colors, sucralose has been proven genotoxic, and incredibly destructive to the gut microbiome. On average, even small amounts kill over half of your beneficial (really necessary) gut microbiome. Taking this stuff is a step backwards if you're trying to be more fit/healthy. Creatine is cheap. There are plenty of better options for less.

If you have a membership, both Costco and Sam's club sell micronized creatine for a significantly better price than this. Flavored and unflavored varieties are available.

Sucralose has not been proven to be genotoxic - that's a categorically false statement. Sucralose-6-acetate, an impurity which can be present in sucralose and can be a byproduct of sucralose created during heating, is possibly genotoxic, based on one in vitro study from 2023. In particular, the amount of sucralose-6-acetate required to be genotoxic is extremely high (according to the 2nd link, about 900x than an expected dose), which makes it unlikely to be present in normal consumption. Much like saccharin in Tab was labeled cancer-causing years ago but only when force fed to mice in massive quantities.
Sources are cool, so here are the ones I found. The first one summarizes some of the studies that have been done with sucralose. The second one looks very specifically at the 2023 study and points out some issues with it (the video is a little annoying unless you're on meth but is informative).

I'd be interested to read the sources for the destruction of half the gut microbiome because I didn't see anything referencing that, but I didn't do an exhaustive search.

Ordered one to see how I like it. I usually take creatine with protein powder on days that I lift, but I've been looking for something for off days in the morning. I could mix my normal monohydrate with something, but this would make it easier (and less thought in the AM). $11 for one.

I just bought some creatine after much research. I found the NSF "certified for sport" webpage and searched for creatine( being listed here certifies they tested as not having banned substances). Based my search on one of those, some if them didn't tout they had the certification for some reason. After narrowing the field for lower cost ones I emailed those and asked where their creatine was sourced. Most responded and said basically from all over the world. The one I ended up with was Muscle Milk Pro Creatine, it lists the NSF "Certified for sport" on label and lists country of origin as Germany on label too.

It was on sale a couple of days ago but I don't recall the price. I think there were at least two totally different brands on sale.
