Good deal if you want to save $250 and don't need 120Hz. If you're willing to splurge $250 more though, and have a Costco membership, this is a much better TV:

85" QM6K. Get the biggest TV in your budget. The QM7K is much brighter than the QM6K, but the QM6K is super bright already. I have the cheaper QM5K in a bright room that sees direct sun, and have to turn the brightness down to like 40%. At night, certain content causes my eyes to wince.

These are great tvs my son bought one and it punches way above its weight. At the local BB they have a 75" QM5K underneath a Q750 which 3 years ago was their 2nd from their top of the line and it makes the Q750 look like a pc. of garbage. Its very bright and its blacks are very black. The Google operating system is very fast and smooth. I never liked TCL tvs b4 but this one, for the price, is almost unbelievable. I believe it uses the same panel as the QM6K and in a direct comparo on Rtings pretty much matches the QM6K on most specs....and I believe its brighter with higher nit results. The only spec where the QM6K is consistently brighter is for gaming.....and there it really outclassed the 5K. The SDR rating for the 5K gets up to 889 nits vs. 814 and the 100% sustained for the 5k is 456 vs. 418 on the 6k. Most of the millions of hours of streaming shows and movies is in SDR. If I was to buy between the 2 I would take the Qm5k....the 65" is only $449! They're gonna sell millions of these!
