They're covered in plastic that disintegrates during the washing process. They're all going all over your dishes regardless of brand.

I use Costco's Kirkland Signature tablets that are powdered soap wrapped in plastic as well. But KS tablets do not leave any greasy residue like some pods (and tablets) from Finish.
