Thank you for posting the deal! I'm monitoring the price of this for a deal below this price point. This was the Black Friday price but hoping it'll go lower soon. Any guesses on when it may go lower, other than when the next generation comes out?

Just based on how the qm8 last year went as well as the current and total discount, I highly doubt it will be lower than $2999 even once it goes clearance. The 98" QM9K might still have some margin left for a discount less than $3999, but imo, the 98 QM8K for about $2999 is gonna be the best deal. For reference, the 85/98" QM851G never went below their Super Bowl discount pricing. If it were me, I'd order one asap for when/if you have to deal with the buzzing power supply.

any cashback, giftcards, cc stuff to make this slicker? was gonna sign up for a chase ink card $750 cashback after $6k in 3 months. i saw something about buying bestbuy gift cards from staples with it for more cashback but they dont sell bestbuy or amazon gc

Buy it at Best Buy and use their credit card You can obtain points, which can be used towards Best Buy purchases

115" is better and Samsung is going 130" later this year so yall know Sony, TCL and Hisense will be there too. 98" will discount by mid year is my guess

The 98" QM7K is also back on sale for $1,998.00. The QM8K is the better model of course but the QM7K is also an excellent TV.

Having just picked up the 85 inch version of this TV, and coming from 12 years Roku ecosystem, I decided to give Apple TV a try rather than stick with the native Google TV. (I'd used Google TV in the past and it was firmly "eh, it's ok" to me.) The experience has been great.
