I have one since many years. They look and feel nice and keep the time. What more can you ask for at this price?

Came here to say the same thing. The automatic version is currently 50 bucks more, but can often be had for less:

Yeah. I'd honestly prefer to wait for an automatic version to be a deal or even find a gently used one.

The quartz is fine, but when the automatic can be had for less than $100, $35 even seems to much for such a cheap quartz.

Invicta is a fashion/value watch brand, not a luxury or premium mechanical watchmaker. If you want an affordable, bold-looking watch you won't worry about damaging — it's a good choice. If you're chasing horological quality, longevity, or investment value, there are better brands out there.

Great for style on a budget. Not great if you want refined watchmaking or collector pedigree.

Pretty much, unless you're comfortable ordering a Chinese watch on Aliexpress.* In spite of the widespread Invicta hate, their automatic Pro Diver - a Rolex Submariner homage, is widely considered a relative bargain. Particularly so when it's on sale.

*FWIW, I've ordered several watches from Aliexpress without issue. They tend to be outstanding quality for the price and often offer features that even the Invicta can't match, such as sapphire crystals and milled steel clasps.

If you're looking for an automatic at a low price point, keep an eye on Invicta's site directly. You can sometimes get a better price than Amazon.

A plastic quartz will keep time better than any automatic in existence as long as it has a good battery in it.

I didn't say it wouldn't. But, a plastic quartz it extremely cheap and unreliable. The wheels are noisy. They can't be serviced and have to be replaced when anything goes wrong. The hand setting is very sloppy and not precise. If you get the Automatic version for a steal, hours getting much much better craftsmanship if that's you're thing. Not to mention you could pick it up 30 years later and shake it and it will run.

Can you recommend some of the watches from aliespress especially when we like this level of detail at most or more simpler watches like Timex?

I know you're looking for links to specific recommendations, but the world of Aliexpress timepieces is vast. This model of Invicta is a Rolex Submariner homage, an iconic diving watch that's emulated for good reason - it's a damn fine-looking watch. So in the spirit of 'give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him to fish and feed him for life', I'm instead going to refer you to this video. It's a survey of automatic movement Submariner homages at various price points. JOMW is a fantistic YT channel by the way. Jody really leans into affordable, high quality watches, especially Aliexpress and microbrands. He's personable, knowledgable and entertaining.
