Agreed. I would go with this LOQ over that Nitro V 16AI. That particular Acer has a number of issues due to the power supply being too small and potential BIOS issues that don't allow for proper pass-through charging when heavy gaming, so the battery drains while plugged in.

I got the one with the 4050 2 years ago and it's been great. Would get this one if I didn't have that one already

Downside is battery life not great, but that is expected giving the gaming capabilities

Check if there is a free RAM slot. It is common for gaming laptops to have two ram slots.

I have this model, just with some more upgrades (have 32gb of RAM and 1TB.. got it from the Lenovo outlet for $615). Its honestly a great machine. In day to day use its silent. In gaming its amazingly quiet for a gaming PC and does not have an annoying fan sound (its a deeper fan sound than most). I find myself using it more than I do my desktop with its 9060xt gpu... The mobile RTX 5050 is very misunderstood.. its not the same as the desktop one. Many of the deficiencies in the desktop one, are not on the mobile. Desktop is GDDR6 and PCI5x8. Mobile is GDDR7 and PCI5x16. My daughter has a LOQ from 3 years ago with a Ryzen CPU and 4060, and this one is much nicer.
