A serious positive for this charger is that the claimed total power output should be reachable. Up to 18W via the integrated USB-C cable (9V at up to 2A, while still supporting a lower voltage, lower rated Power Delivery profile of 5V at up to 3A) + 12W (5V at up to 2.4A) via the USB-A port.

Good luck!

If you have an older car, don't go with higher wattage. You'll make the battery and alternator work harder. My 09 Mazda3 developed electrical and battery issues because of high electrical power draw.
That's just silly. Your Mazda 3, and pretty much any cars 12v accessory port (aka cigarette lighter in the old days) is rated up to at least 120W before the 10A in-line fuse will pop. So there would be zero issues using a higher wattage car charger. Your 2009 Mazda 3 alternator laughs at a 60W car charger as it's designed to sustain a 1000W load (90A) so that's not the reason you had problems. Likely, being 17 years old, it was just time to replace your alternator and/or battery. They all go bad eventually.
