It's the same thing as the regular Anker 45W nano charger. Just added an extra wattage meter screen. Not worth the price bump

That's like the only thing that is useful. Otherwise this isn't anything special, in fact, the screen is just something else to break.

Seriously guys?! This is NOT a deal. Not for us users anyways. It's a great "deal" for Slickdeals and the staff who gets a kickback for this ad. This is a new product that Anker is trying to push as it's been all over my social media feeds as well. Who the heck needs a screen on their wall wart?! And this is way more expensive than even Anker's own plugs.

You bet. I do use them for other areas as well. I've got an outlet in front of a bookshelf that we plugged the Christmas tree in during the winter and a fan in during the summer, so it's nice to be able to have the bookshelf pretty flat against the wall.
They also come in handy when you're traveling. You never know when you're going to have a tight fit. And even in my bedroom, I have the brick plugged into one of these switches plugged into one of those boxes they give you six outlets from two so the brick sticks out further than normal.

Unless you need to stay at the outlet after plugging it in and stair at it for a long time then I'd say it's not worth the premium

The care mode on this works quiet well. My phone was cool to touch. It did not feel hot or warm like when it gets off the charger
