I had the 1st generation of these. They worked great with Ring, except for the all-to-frequent false alarms. It seemed that as the batteries got low, false alarms became more frequent!

Hope they fixed this. Maybe the 10 year battery will. Can anyone confirm?

Yeah 2023, not in these random tariffs every month times
Not sure if they're related but.. I did a small fact check :

As a product manufactured in Mexico, the First Alert Z-Wave Battery Smoke and CO Alarm (including models ZCOMBO-G and SMCO410) typically qualifies for duty-free treatment under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

Not that I like tariff, it's just not everything is tariff problem Smilie

I don't think Eufy security hub is z-wave compatible so the answer is no.

I use these for two residences with Ring plans but FYI they will not work with a Ring business plan unless you override it. Not worth it though, IMO...I tried (and it will work) but they are required to call the fire department, no confirmation call allowed with the smoke detector in business, but I can get confirmation calls with burglary alarm just fine. Odd.

I have these with the Ring system. The "older" ones that take batteries (less than 2 years ago) and those really ate batteries. They would look fine until a test or someone set them off cooking (has only happened once in all the years I used them) then the batteries would need replacing. Makes you not want to test them weekly/monthly as recommended with most detectors. They are a great idea though. Regular alarms, if you aren't home only make noise that likely no one will hear. These at least will alert you if something is going on. Wish they weren't so expensive. I do have 5 of them already. One is pretty close to the wood stove and never goes off so I have to wonder sometimes.

Don't want to poop poop on the deal, but you can make your current existing interconnected smoke detectors Z-wave smart. The Zooz Zen 55 can be wired into your existing interconnected smoke detectors and will send notifications for Smoke/Fire and CO. I used to have a different solution that used modules and open and closed switches, but switched to Zooz and it's been working great.
Ooh, now that looks tempting. Code here requires hardwired interconnected smoke detectors, you're not allowed to replace a hardwires one with a battery one (even the long life batteries apparently), so these zwave ones have always been kinda useless to me. That zooz device looks like it would be a piece of cake to install, especially since I used wago's to connect the wires last time I did the smoke detectors.

Yes you got it. The 3 hole wagos would easily work. Three wires to connect. Black to black, white to white and red to red. You can add it to any of your junction boxes but they recommend it in the last due to more room. However, kind of hard to determine which one is the last without pulling all the detectors out. I did have to update the firmware on mine a while back. I am still running smartthings. I have like 8 hardwired smoke detectors I was able to add it to.

Was going to bite but don't see a need for the z-wave feature. Just bought the non-Zwave from AMZ which were 2 for 30.

Do these still have the issue where they give the low battery alert at ~78% battery?

Can these be silenced from your phone? Do they communicate with each other? One of these days I'll have to replace my now discontinued Nest smoke/CO detectors.
I am also in the same situation. My Nest on expired and need to replace. Wanted to buy something which I can silence using my phone. If it is not feasible with these, what the other options are available for silencing using a phone?
