Has anyone tried using a different billing zip code for... more favorable taxes?

It says 49 "/year", but if you set on the auto-renewal option, will it actually RENEW at $49 every year going forward? Or at its $180 MSRP price?
Quote from Wand :
So this renews at $180/year or $60/year?
I asked the same question (above) but haven't heard an answer yet... hopefully someone knows what the renewal pricing is like a year later?

This plan will stop, as it is a hard cap. The 10gb+ plans are soft cap and will just allow down, though my father-in-law somehow used 39gbs in one month on his 15gb plan.

On T-mobile The data does NOT stop. T-mobile isn't even setup for that I don't think. AT&T WILL hard cap. T-mobile just drops the speed to a really slow speed which might let you listen to streaming audio and basic network stuff but is gonna be slow for anything else. I don't know what Verizon does. I think it's also used for VOLTE calls (Voice over LTE).

No it's just that the Verizon IMEI checker doesn't include all compatible models in their DB. It's the same story with Visible's IMEI checker. These are modern-ish TF devices and will work on the TF VZ network and therefore will also work on Verizon MVNOs. If they don't let you purchase a SIM without a "compatible" IMEI, grab a random Galaxy S25 Ultra IMEI from some website like eBay just to bypass their check.
Good information. Thank you for that.

Anyone can chime in on Port In/Out experience with this carrier? Don't want to lose my permanent number if the CS is incompetent or not up to par...
I ported out of Infimobile back to Tracfone in March 2025 with no problem, though I did have to do it by phone and speak to somebody. I'm hearing that it is more automated now.

auto renew will charge the regular price, not the sale price. turn off auto renew. there are lots of reports of people being able to "recharge" their service with the sale price though, which adds 1 more year of service at whatever the sale price is at the time.

I have the 5GB plan that ends 7/25/26. I went to my account and clicked on "Recharge." It then allowed me to add 1 more year of service at this current price. Total was $50.58 for me

Same, getting $3 for shipping physical SIM. Plus I get $18 for tax in CA so not much of a deal (for me at least) after everything.
Do you know a better deal?

It only took a hour or so for me, done online with no customer service help needed. And since my move was from one Verizon MVNO to another, my voicemail didn't even reset. It was as if I didn't even move my service.
