Also with esim or renewals since no physical media is sent like the sim kit you can use a privacy.com virtual credit card (free) locked to $5 over the purchase price and 1 time usage and it authenticates to ANY address. This lets you pick a state with little or no taxes which saved me around $17 in 911 related fees. I just picked a random store in a random city of ohio if I remember right and only had like $2 in taxes and fees.

I have the 5GB plan that ends 7/25/26. I went to my account and clicked on "Recharge." It then allowed me to add 1 more year of service at this current price. Total was $50.58 for me

Works ok for kids. If you ever need a eSim to eSim move they might charge $11 or so. An Apple pSIM to eSIM worked but the phone had issues and the next eSIM to eSIM costs a bit.

Also they count months as 30 days. Not a calendar month. Bit silly.

I was charged more than $25 in tax, and the tax amount is not displayed until the payment is completed.

If you don't need a physical SIM (most newer flagship phones don't have a slot), I'm thinking I could register in another state, say, Idaho, which has the lowest wireless tax.

I'm on month 8 of this plan on the verizon network when it was $82 after taxes and fees. Speed test results: 35.7 Mbps download and 2.28 Mbps upload speeds. It works great for my purposes. I'm on wifi most of the time at home, and if I use it for driving directions in the car it's always worked. Hopefully they'll have this deal when it's time to renew, It's worth buying now and just renewing early.

I am at the end of month 1 with them. coming from Total Wireless that was also on Verizon. Same or much better speed at times where I am.
One speed test showed 3gigs/sec-- it took 2.5 GB of data for that test. But typically around 60-70 mb/sec.

you can "recharge" your account right now for 1 yr for $49. I did it this morning. my current plan runs out in July and I recharged it today. account shows that when current plan expires in july, the new plan begins immediately, which ends 1 year later.

This does seem like a good deal, I was thinking it was 2500/2500 5gb for the year like tracphone would be,
Tracphone at that price would include a phone

That's great to hear. Thanks for sharing and showing the detail on how they execute it. I just started my service at the beginning of the month and it's been good so far. I'm tempted to add another year now that it's $10 less than what was already an excellent price. I think I'm going to hold off though. I should probably get a few months in at least and make sure I don't encounter any issues that would make me want to switch. I would bet now that they've broken the seal on the $49 price that it's not the last time we'll see it.

Thank you so much for the tip, it worked! I am currently on Month 9 of 12 on the same plan as you (Pro Plus 5 GB), which was set to end on May 3, 2026. I was able to click "Recharge" in my account, and the Renew options did indeed include another year of the 5 GB plan for $49. I also avoided the $3 shipping charge from this sale (I am using a physical SIM), and the total came out to $51.16 for me after taxes.

After I logged out and logged back into my account, my account indeed reflected that my current plan ends on 03-May-2026, while my Upcoming Plan Pro Plus Plan starts on 03-May-2026 (i.e. the same day that my current one ends).

For reference, the yearly Renewal options presented (for those who have a current account running) are:
- 500 MB/month for $30 (same as this current sale)
- 5 GB/month for $49 (same as this current sale)
- 10 GB/month for $125 (more expensive than the $99 current sale price).
- 15 GB/month for $150 (more expensive than the $125 current sale price).
- 20 GB/month for $199 (more expensive than the $175 current sale price).

Awesome deal.

I have Tracfone and these days, considering how stingy TF has become with points, if you don't need a phone, this is a much better deal for most people.

I purchased this a couple of months ago. Here are my thoughts.
  • You can ask to get infimobile service on Tmobile or Verizon. Make sure you select it at the time of order.
  • If you purchase a physical sim on Amazon, you do not get 3 months of hotspot. That might not be important to some. Also Amazon offers an infi/tmobile or an infi/verizon sim. Make sure you order the correct one.
  • esims are free but they charge $5 if you ever swap the esim to another phone. I elected for a physical since I know I will be upgrading my phone in a few months.
  • Their customer service is decent. Someone always answers the phone or will call you back. Their customer service reps are all Indian so it may be difficult if you get someone with a thick accent.

Is it normal for the renewal prices to be the same as the sale prices for new customers? Can anyone who has had infimobile for a couple years comment on that? I thought one of the threads a few months back said current customers couldn't get the sale prices, but maybe that was specific to the Amazon deals or something.

I signed up a few months ago and have been pretty happy. The speeds are fast.

Their customer service is complete shite and their website/app is pretty trash though. The website kept telling me that I needed to update the app version when I tried to view it in a browser in mobile mode. THEIR website was apparently out of date of itself 👀. Had to view in desktop mode to get it to stop.

unfortunately only gives out Verizon sims and I needed a T-Mobile one even when T-Mobile says my imei is valid for them. When it was 60 it doled out T-Mobile ones, the data rates with T-Mobile are around 500MBPS in my area.
