Also with esim or renewals since no physical media is sent like the sim kit you can use a privacy.com virtual credit card (free) locked to $5 over the purchase price and 1 time usage and it authenticates to ANY address. This lets you pick a state with little or no taxes which saved me around $17 in 911 related fees. I just picked a random store in a random city of ohio if I remember right and only had like $2 in taxes and fees.

I have the 5GB plan that ends 7/25/26. I went to my account and clicked on "Recharge." It then allowed me to add 1 more year of service at this current price. Total was $50.58 for me

Current Plan | Month 6 of 12
Pro Plus 5 GB | 5.00 GB
Next Cycle starts on 27-Jan-2026 17:40:07

Upcoming Plan Pro Plus
Plan starts on 26-Jul-2026 17:40:07

Works ok for kids. If you ever need a eSim to eSim move they might charge $11 or so. An Apple pSIM to eSIM worked but the phone had issues and the next eSIM to eSIM costs a bit.

Also they count months as 30 days. Not a calendar month. Bit silly.

Well I assure you MY 911 Fee was almost $20 on it's own. Yes when I renewed I used an ohio walgreens address along with a privacy.com virtual cc locked down to $70 and one time usage to prevent any "auto renewals". Same for any of those promotional offers you see that always require auto renewal.

Just pick some of the sales tax free states and see what 911 fee it wants to charge. Doesn't need to be ohio.
I did the same thing with a random Las Vegas address, only got charged $0.04 for fees.

does this work on a locked straight talk phone? I was one of the suckers who purchased the 2 pack straight talk phones for $75 and could not activate before jan 20 as I'm still waiting on delivery. if not. can I use this with only a smartwatch?
Sorry guys no it won't work with the straight talk locked Moto stylus 2025. Cuz I also got two of them and mine are still locked and when I put the sim in it says sim locked.

Yes if the phones are unlocked they will work. I was able to activate both moto g stylus 2025 via esim on the verizon network with infimobile.

There was some legwork needed on my part to contact straight talk as one of my phones did not unlock after the 60 days. It was bundled with service with my purchase and didn't meet the unlock policy of "2 transactions" in the 60 days. I had to talk to unlock dept 3 times and the billing department once. They finally did unlock the phone as it should have been automatically.

Aside from that Straight talk support was awesome to give me the account # which is the sim #, generate a transfer pin (even with a non active account) and provide zip to use for the port out of the number. Service was moved and active in under 10 min.

Once unlocked they will work on the infimobile service at least in my experience using the esim option.

If your phones meet the unlock policy criteria and didn't automatically unlock then you may want to call straight talk unlock department and find out why. I had to for one of my phones and after some time on the phone and investigation I was able to get it unlocked.

FYI... It's 5gb per month so this is a pretty amazing deal.
Also, you have 60 days to activate. After that, there's a $5 fee for 30 more days. After 90 days, the account expires and can no longer be activated.

Does the plan work in Canada and Mexico? Their website does not say anything about international roaming.

USA only. If you look at the plan, and the comparison of the plans, this plan says "Nationwide 2500 Mins and 2500 SMS", while the higher plans say "Unlimited Nationwide Talk & Text". None of them mention Canada or Mexico.

International calling is available as an add-on cost, but I'm not sure how much.

This is meant to be used in USA only.

I don't think I was on "auto renew" so I did renew manually and looked at prices. It's been a few months since then.
Cool - I'm renewing manually, but how do I confirm the new plan will renew for me in July instead of starting immediately?
