I just used the "renew plan" option, gave some Ohio AutoZone address and paid like $1 in tax

For anyone interested - I've combined this cheap Verizon service with the free helium T-Mobile service (esim) to, in theory, get combined V/T (deprioritized) coverage. It will be interesting to see if the coverage works as expected. I should ad that the Helium "free" plan is no longer, well, free . While you aren't paying Helium anything for this service, they will pass thru any taxes and fees (fair enough). This will vary widely based on THE SERVICE ADDRESS YOU CHOOSE TO GIVE THEM. So, I'll be reevaluating whether my use case justifys these new costs.

so you can set your helium account address to anything, regardless of what your credit card billing address is?
would credit card payment go through with a different helium address?

privacy dot come does

but I am curious if you change the e911 address to something else.... with Fi , if you change the service address it messes with e911 but that is monthly billed, given this is annual I guess you can just update it after you pay

There's been a bunch of posts discussing specifically this. Use privacy.com to pay, and use something in Nevada zip code for billing address.

Confused, what is plabtif? As far as tethering, true, hotspot is an additional $5 per month as an add-on

Haven't seen anyone mentioned this… the plan only allows 500 MMS messages (or about 16/day). If you send and receive a lot of pictures/videos or messages more 160-characters, this plan is not for you.

I mentioned it. I also mentioned that they don't show you how many you have used on the app or website. I'm only in my first month with them so it hasn't burned me yet, but I'm confused as to why nobody's talking about this. I'd imagine it's fairly easy to run over 500 a month.

Not a sophisticated txt user. I'm assuming that since I use gvoice for all text that this wouldn't apply. From the carriers perspective, everything should be just data.

Do you know, do mms' sent/received on wifi count against your total?

Does anyone if during the sign up process, you get to pick your new number from a list of available numbers? Or is one auto-assigned to you?

no experience with it, but looks like international calls/texts are not covered. Looks like a $5/month add-on?
