Bought a refurb V11, and V8 through eBay 2-3 years ago. No complaints at all. If refurbished through Dyson, you also get a good amount of warranty as well.

Bought a refurbished V8 from Dyson in 2020. Had a battery go bad right after the warranty expired but they replaced it for free. Then had that battery go bad so I bought a non-Dyson battery on Amazon and it's made my life so much better. I would still buy a refurbished again.

That's what's nice about Dyson, a lot of 3rd party battery options for reasonable price. Other brands don't typically have that.

I bought this exact one for 250 refurbished from Walmart other than a scratch on the tube it still runs excellent and I am super happy with it . Much more powerful than the V8 model. I use it daily since I have a dog and a cat. Battery lasts long enough for me to do dog room and hallway. With attachment that has a rolling brush it will last about 12-15 min if your easy on the trigger when changing where you vac it will go a bit longer. I have had it for about a year and a half so far no issues !

I bought a refurbished V8 from vip outlet (supposedly a pseudonym for Walmart) on Ebay and, while it looks good, it was missing the charger. To their credit, they accepted the return request and I'll ship it back for a refund when I get a big enough box (the one it came in was damaged.)

I don't remember it was v7 or V8 but I paid around $150 and it was over 7+ years ago. It still runs with original battery and battery is a little weaker but still I can use it. I might buy refurbished one again if my v7/8 battery dies or just replace battery first and see it works or not.

Bought v10 so long ago I don't remember when, over years replaced battery and trigger with metal one because plastic kept on breaking. Eventually died but served us well. Replaced with refurb v11 from dyson. Refurb is the way to go with this brand.

I had a V15 from Costco that broke...fortunately, Costco has an excellent return policy. Guy working there told me Dyson Vacs were the most commonly returned items, and going forward it would only be two years (mine was well under a year).
Personally, I really dislike the V10/V15 bins vs the V7/8/9...you have to remove the wand, and then the dirt seems to always gets stuck above the seal. It drove me crazy, and got my hands really dirty every time I had to empty it. It is bigger, more powerful and battery lasts longer, however.
