On our 3rd Dyson v10 animal. the other half wants to give it one last run. the previous 2 Dysons would die, or not hold a charge more than 20-30 mins. constant charge issues, even after full charge and cleaning it all out (filter, etc).
How do these compare to Dyson? better, same issues, or?
I'm pretty sold on Shark as a brand. We currently have a corded stick as well as a traditional bagless and robot. They've all lasted waaaay longer than anything else we've owned in the price range. And their customer service is good too.

I have a cordless Shark Rocket Pet Pro and my only complaint is that in order to clean the roller or any part of the head, it needs to be fully disassembled which includes about 30 little screws and a bunch of clips. It is a tedious process but luckily I found an hour long youtube vid that covers the whole process. I've done it twice in the 6 years I've had the vacuum. Other than that, it's been great!
I only have one rug in my whole house , rest is hard wood floors. Do you have a lot of carpet?
I have an area rug and hardwood I'll use it on. It works fine on these. Another thing I discovered I don't like is when you are pulling it backwards it doesn't pick up anything and just pushes it. The flex is nice
