The RAM is worth $300 by itself.

Thanks! Didn't realize the Kamrui is soldered on, that definitely a big minus.
If you're able to follow up with your thoughts it would be appreciated
The Kamrui ships w/a 65w AC adapter and the BIOS does not restrict to 28w like the Beelink, so that doesn't seem to be a concern. I have a picture somewhere but I forgot what brand the SSD was, not a mainstream brand IIRC.

The Bosgame came with a 120w AC adapter and a Kingston SSD. I haven't looked up the model number yet b/c I don't have the pics on hand at the moment. It comes with Windows 11 Pro, activated unlike what another post (review?) reported. It's ready for local user setup and I full scanned it with Windows Defender and Malbytes, no issues.

I'm not a gamer, so for $10 more I'll be keeping the Bosgame. The AC adapter on the Bosgame sucks though - it's one of those huge ones w/the prongs sticking out, so it could block an outlet. The Kamrui is a 3 prong head leading into a brick. I'm ok with the Bosgame consuming a little more power, it'll be daily office type workload.

Following up

Kamrui uses older AMI Bios w/o mouse support, Bosgame uses newer AMI Bios GUI with mouse support.

Kamrui is related to Acemagician, you can actually see the same setup but inverted on an Acemagician miniPC too. It was posted here as well. Acemagician has a history that you can read into yourself about 3rd party XYZ and malware.

Kamrui uses Kingfast SSD, budget AliExpress type brand, first search result was 'high failure rate' on Reddit.

Kingston SSD in Bosgame is this one:
https://www.kingston.com/en/indus...pacity=1tb

I can live w/that.

I bought this. It finally arrived yesterday. Seems fine so far, except the LAN ports do not work at all. They're enabled in BIOS, The cable is fully inserted (same cable works fine in other machines). No lights, and OS can't see that a cable is inserted. Tried disabling and re-enabling in BIOS. No change. Worried I got one with a bad LAN card or something.

Do an exchange via Amazon? That's why I didn't buy direct from these types of vendors in the first place. I think the only one I'd buy direct is MiniForums.

I bought a mini with an n100 a couple of years ago with the same problem. I uninstalled one of the drivers in the network adapter file in device manager. I can't remember which one, and I don't have the mini running right now, but when I restarted it, the driver reinstalled itself and the ethernet worked great.

Yeah, I messed around with the drivers but finally got it working by trying a whole new Ethernet cable (should've done that from the start lol). False alarm on the hardware being bad.

no problem. may not help now but the Kamrui has come up on sale multiple times in the last few months. I had seen the Bosgame before but missed it. luckily I had Christmas extended returns to buy me time for the Bosgame to come back on sale.
