What do you use for your moonlight client? I'm going to eventually go with a y700 on a tablet holder so I can lay flat.

- (Anywhere in the house) I use a RedMagic Astra 9" tablet (OLED 165hz) with either the Abxylute S9 (slightly modified, with 3D printed extension), arVin USB C mobile gaming controller (Amazon link, no affiliate: https://urlhasbeenblock
ed.com/3u47kd4a), or GameSir G8 Galileo with steel sticks. All work splendidly for the tablet, and I actually like the offset where the controller is higher up on the tablet due to the USB C port config. I don't like Bluetooth mobile controllers due to noticeable lag.
- (Mostly living room) Acer - Swift 16 AI - 16" 3K OLED 120hz with EasySMX X05 Pro
- (Mostly living room) Microsoft PRO 11 Snapdragon X-Elite with 3K OLED 120hz with EasySMX X05Pro
- (In bed, zero light bleed to the wife) RayNeo Air 3s XR Glasses (OLED 120hz) with a Motorola Edge (2024) and the EasySMX X05 Pro. This is one of the few phones that does 120hz output in its desktop mode, which also works really well. The Moto Smart Connect which is their variant of desktop mode is quite nice, and Moonlight does 120hz to my PC with zero issues. I have an S25 Ultra as my main phone with a much more capable chipset, but Samsung hates its users and limits it to 60hz output.
It's probably obvious, but I got kind of insane deals on everything I have here. Surface Pro 11 was $650, Acer Swift 16 was $650, RayNeo glasses were $210, Moto Edge (2024) was $44 and a lot of this doesn't include insane cashback via CCs, PayPal, and a site that rhymes with Packuten. The controllers were this listed price or cheaper.Love all of these setups and when I'm at my desktop which is a whole different thing.😅
Edit: I get to lay flat with the glasses, too, so it's wildly comfortable. Lets the cats that sleep on my stomach/chest have their space, too. 😆

The Astra would be my dream tablet, but trying to not be excessive so I'm shooting for the y700 at the moment.
I did just pick up a pair of RayNeo 3s as well. Have yet to get them to feel extremely comfortable. Debating if it's worth trying prescription lenses rather tan use them with contacts.
Thanks for the info on the Motorola, finding info on which devices support 120hz out is darn near impossible. Did you happen to notice anything about Pixel devices?

I need prescription glasses for my RayNeo glasses as well so what I did was take the sample lenses they gave, and ordered a pair of kids glasses with my prescription from Goggles4u (they were $8, and with other normal pairs I got, like $10 with shipping). Popped the lenses out of the frames, epoxied them to the included sample prescription frame piece and voila! Much cheaper than the ~$150 RayNeo wanted through their lens partner.
It seems that the Pixel 8 on up should support 120hz monitors over USB C. I tried it with my wife's Pixel 9 after enabling the desktop mode in the Developer Settings, but I couldn't control the screen and couldn't bring up a refresh rate test either.
Good luck!
