You should add hybrid to the title. It runs on battery or cord. This was $65 the other day.

Can anyone comment on how strong this is? In comparison to anything? Could it cool you down decently from 5 feet away?

I have the model before this one. I can't say it will cool you but you will definitely feel a good wind from 5ft away.
Also, a 4ahr battery will run this on low all night long with plenty to spare. I use this in summer at my offgrid cabin. Worth every penny to me

I've mounted one above my garage workbench on an unused tv wall mount. Makes it really adjustable! I stay cool in the summer and circulate warm air in the winter.

I can use ext cord or battery and remove it from the bracket to use it else where.

I may pick up a second one just so I don't have to remove it 🙃

Also works great on the hybrid tripod worklight base!

Wish I had the same experience as everyone on here. I bought one, returned it, bought a other, returned that one too. The first one fluctuated like crazy one speed one (battery and cord), and the second had a really bad whine. I got the Milwaukee version which, yes double the price, but it's has a dial for speed which means a lot more speeds and has been great so far. It's a little annoying that it's packout compatible but can't be rotated side to side.
