I was gifted one of these years ago and thought I'd try them out. Got curious and it seems like there isn't much evidence that these are helpful to protect eyes. FYI specifically talking about blue light; at least during waking hours.

My thoughts as well. You can also infer this from the title of the product saying "blocks 35-98% of blue light" as that's a wildly big range. Okay is it 35% effective or 98% effective?

Yep. No evidence or studies whatsoever showing that glasses like these do anything.

Depends on the tint color for the lenses. Clear is 35%, amber 65%, amber max 98% of blue light at 450nm blocked, etc.
