IMO great machines for the price. We bought two of them last month for $380/ea new from BB. They are typically ran at 30-50% brightness, without direct glare from any windows, so they are fine for what they are. Only 3-4 hours of battery life when running DOSBOX-X or ScummVM for Windows 9x emulation and games, and I do hate the common half-size up/down arrow keys, but they've done us well otherwise for running older "vintage" games from the '90s and early 2000s.

About 9 hours of battery life when running our current 3d accelerated game from 2000, which is able to run directly under Win11 without emulation/VMs.Well, at least in Windowed-mode (with 200% scaling)...full screen throws drawing errors due to the IGP not supporting the game's native full-screen resolution.

Works for us - cheap dedicated "retro" gaming machines. At least until something better comes along, for a good price, with a battery closer to 70-80Wh. 2023 Asus G14 machines are no cheaper used today than they were on sale new...
