how is this compared to Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 16" Touchscreen Laptop - AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 - WUXGA (1920 x 1200) - Windows 11 Home - 16GB RAM - 1TB SSD , if anyone could give me their 2 cents would appreciate it! The one i am talking about is 599 on sale at Costco .

You're very wrong. This price is amazing. It has a 1920x1200 OLED, its ultralight, the processor is great for most people, 16GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD. Prices on SSDs and RAM are crazy right now. Half the price of the machine is the price of the RAM and SSD right now. So you're wrong as can be.
For the price, its great. You're paying a low end price for something that isn't low end.
