So this is decent. What is lacking from a flag ship model is an OLED screen and perhaps faster charging. Everything else seems to be pretty close to top notch. Since this CPU, there has been the SnapDragon 8 Elite and the Snap Dragon 8 Gen 5. But there is nothing wrong with the SD 8 Gen 3, actually it maybe be the best CPU using emulation software.

I personally do not like these keyboards cases. I always look for a foam / drop proof case and if I don't find one my tablet never makes it to it's first B-day... so the importance of a foam case to me is extreme.

I personally prefer this to a Samsung. But the S9, S11 11" models are OLED and the S9+ and S10+ are also OLED 12.4". That is the one thing that sways me to a Samsung.

Two tablets that I like alot.
1. ZTE RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet (I have this tablet). This is a 9.06" super high end Android Gaming tablet (you do not have to game). It does have a OLED screen that gets pretty bright, 1600nits. I purchased this tablet in the pre release sale... WWW.redmagic.com This has OLED, 80 watt fast charging, SnapDragon 8 Elite... no micros sd card slot, UFS 4.1 and 165Hz screen... all the specs are just better then the Lenovo but it is a 9.06" tablet.

2. Honor Magicpad 12.3" OLED screen. I have not done enough research on where to buy this tablet. It has similar specs to the Lenovo but it has a OLED that does 1600nits. I am just unsure where to buy... like I think you need to order it from China and side load the google app store and google services may not work properly. I think you can download the JD.com app and use Wechat to convert it to english and you may be able to find it for about $350ish... besides that, it seems too expensive.

Before you buy a tablet, the first thing is to figure out what size you want. Do you want to use it in bed? You then decide if you want high end or low end... price difference is like 150ish to 600ish. Good luck.

I had tried this model in the past (it was $470 in the summer, https://slickdeals.net/f/18501535-lenovo-yoga-tab-plus-13-3k-144hz-android-tablet-with-keyboard-case-and-pen-470-24-ac-free-shipping?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue%7CSearch%3AType%3Anormal%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arelevance%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse)

The hardware is pretty nice and the pen works well. It's frankly too big for the limited Android OS. 13" makes more sense for a windows or chrome environment. The keyboard is decent, but the case didn't really cover the glass on the back or edges. It just didn't make sense for me as someone who owns both a phone and a laptop to have a tablet this big.

100% Agreed on the OLED screen.

It should be OLED, 120Hz, DC dimming and no PWM BS past 25% brightness.

I don't take products seriously if they don't take the screen seriously, I voted with my wallet and got me an OLED tablet... I wanted this model with OLED screen but it never happened.

I just think it's odd to expect an OLED and the rest of these specs for sub $500. Apple wants $1100+ for something like that.

What kind of brand is "Honor" though? What kind of warranty and support are you getting from something off eBay?

Look, I expect it to work on day one and if you don't drop your tablet... it should work on Day 10,000. I am not to worried about "warranty and support". But if you buy the global unit, I am sure you can get it serviced under warranty. Also, I have used my warranty once with a Samsung... and it was like to hell in a handbasket. But the fifteen tablets I purchased in my life I never needed or used support or warranty.

The Honor MagicPad 2 12.3" is a premium Android tablet known for its exceptional 12.3-inch 3K OLED display. It features a high 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1600 nits, making it a strong competitor to flagship tablets like the iPad Pro in terms of visual quality.

Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which provides smooth performance for multitasking and gaming. The tablet is incredibly thin at just 5.8mm and houses a massive 10,050mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. It also features an impressive eight-speaker system with Spatial Audio and IMAX Enhanced certification for a cinematic experience.

But there are two versions... one that comes with the play store by the manufacturer (global)... or one that you need to side load the play store on, AKA the Chinese Version.

I've had 11 inch version of this with the same specs, but could not live with ips display, so sold it two months later and bought honor magic pad 2(also has similar brother tablet under name of honor pad gt) And i must say, thar OLED is so much better and changes the whole experience of using a tablet. I got Chinese version, but installing google play store was very easy, like couple button presses.
