Get a well reviewed speed cube version. Brand name Rubik's cubes are solid but they do not turn easily and are not used in the cubing community.

Agreed. This is a good price for all 3 cubes and fine if you're just looking to learn how to solve them, but it's a much better experience on a speed cube even if you aren't interested in beating a time. The basic 3x3 WRM V10 is only $16 on Amazon.

I bought this and two of the tiles have fallen off in the first day. Very flimsy junk quality, binds a lot during rotation.
