Nice little kit, especially to keep in a little bike repair kit. This is definitely the most compact one vs the competing Icon 'meme tool', and the Wera ToolCheck set (although the Wera set comes with proper sockets, and a mini screwdriver, too).
I have all 3. All are good in their own ways. If I could only keep one it'd be the Wera, but largely because of the sockets & mini screwdriver.
  • The Wiha has the least backdrag.
  • The Icon is clever because the extension can be used as a 't-handle', and the flex head is also nice to have.
  • The Icon & Wera have security torx bits, the Wiha just has normal Torx bits.

Icon tips aren't impact rated, I don't believe. The Wiha bits are.

I have both. The Wiha kit is much smaller and feels like much higher quality when using it. The bits are also impact rated.
The Icon has a couple more features, but the Wiha is almost always the one I grab first.

I bought this for slightly more on Amazon. Great set! Wiha is one of my go tos for smaller screwdrivers (terminal and such). Good deal!!

I have the Wiha set shown here and the HF Icon set.

  • Wiha set is smaller.
  • Wiha case is metal and the top does not have anything inside so it is a bit nicer for holding fasteners. Icon will do it too, but Icon has bits on the top so it could be more difficult to pick them out. You can put a small magnet in the Wiha case to hold the fasteners as well.
  • I find the lever on the Wiha a bit too easy to switch and occasionally switch the direction unintentionally
  • Wiha ratchet has a thumb wheel that will turn head
  • Wiha extension locks the bit in place
  • Icon set has smaller and larger metric hex bits than this Wiha set; I don't know about the inch sizes because I seldom use those. Icon set includes an oddball 7mm hex. I do not have any other bit or L-key set that has 7mm hex
  • Icon ratchet can bend just below the head

I've been using the wiha set with a bit driver vs the ratchet for like 10 years. Best set I've ever had.
