Seems like the deal is dead!!!

Also, few Amazon reviews mentioned that these brushes started rusting after only a few uses later and the worst part is that the bristles started falling out....likely these are made with Boar Hair....which may be a concern for some folks.

When I saw the pic, it looks exactly like my paintbrush.
Are these better than silicone ones?

I've tried silicone ones, which didn't work as well as this brush. But maybe it was just a bad design. Mostly I use this brush to brush on egg whites onto pie crust. Or to brush on a layer of melted butter or oil say to the top of a pizza dough to stop the sauce from soaking into the crust. I rarely use it to brush water on anything so mine has never rusted. I've had a brush from this same brand for about 35 years. Because I always use it with oil it's really hard to wash it out and my brush always has a faintly oily residue between the metal and the hair. So maybe modern quality has fallen or maybe it's just the way I use it.
