Rustler sounds like a lot of fun actually

It was pretty common to have popular ones in the very early days when they were trying to get people's attention.

Now it's about 2 per year (Hogwarts and Disco Elysium this year).

That sounds right. You obviously pay closer attention than I do. But... I'm fine with their track record... I've never given them a penny and they don't owe me a thing. Throwing me a free game or two every week is all right in my book. 🙂

Most of the games Epic gives away are very highly rated for their genres. Some people just confuse "good games" with AAA games. As a counterpoint, perhaps someone can provide a list of games that Valve/Steam has given away in 2025?
